Hartmann & Hannan Center for Psychoeducational & Behavioral Services is a women-owned small business in Central Florida. At our office north of Downtown Orlando, we conduct individual standardized psychoeducational evaluations for a variety of purposes, including Gifted, Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Intellectual Disabilities. We also offer in-home Applied Behavior Analysis services in the greater Orlando area.
Abby Hartmann is a certified and licensed School Psychologist. She received her Masters of Science degree with a specialization in School Psychology in 2014, and her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies, Specialist Degree in 2016 from Capella University. Abby holds additional certifications in Youth Mental Health First Aid, and Psychological First Aid. In addition, she is a certified trainer in Ukeru, a trauma-informed approach to de-escalating behaviors. Abby specializes in Comprehensive Evaluations, Social Emotional Learning, and Behavioral Intervention plans. Abby also co-authored the children's book Pickford Panda and the Pandemic with Melanie Hannan.
Melanie Hannan is a certified and licensed School Psychologist, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She received a Masters Degree in Educational Psychology and an Education Specialist Degree in School Psychology from Chapman University in 2009. Melanie has 13 years of experience as a School Psychologist and has provided in-home ABA services to children with autism spectrum disorders for over 11 years. She has extensive experience with students of all ages with a variety of unique needs, including learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, Gifted, emotional/behavioral disorders, and intellectual disabilities. Melanie also co-authored the children's book Pickford Panda and the Pandemic with Abby Hartmann.
Laura Estupinan Higuera is a certified and licensed School Psychologist. She received her Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Education, and her Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Laura specializes in Comprehensive Evaluations, Social Emotional Learning, and Behavioral Intervention plans. She has extensive experience working with culturally diverse populations and uses her bilingual skills to assist, educate and advocate for Spanish speaking families. Laura is trained in using various Spanish assessment tools to provide comprehensive evaluations for Spanish speaking students.
Colleen Bennett has been a speech-language pathologist for over 25 years. She is nationally certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and holds her Clinical Competency Certificate. She is licensed through the Florida Department of Health and has a Florida Department of Education teaching certificate in the areas of Speech-Language Impaired, Educational Leadership, Exceptional Student Education and Reading. Colleen earned her degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of South Florida. She works with children with a wide range of needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social Communication Disorder, language delays and disorders, language based literacy disorders and speech sound disorders.
Andrea E. Marrero López is a certified Exceptional Student Education (ESE) teacher. She received her Masters in Educational Leadership in 2018 from Ana G. Méndez University in Puerto Rico. Andrea has over seven years of experience teaching students with unique needs, including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, and emotional/behavioral disabilities within the public school system. Andrea also works with homeschool students and their families by providing tutoring and parent training. Prior to teaching in Florida, Andrea was an ESE teacher in Puerto Rico teaching independent functioning and life skills. Andrea is bilingual and works with both English and Spanish speaking students and families.
